License activation
Upgrade from the free trial to Smart Pass Pro with an activation code.
Before you start
What you'll need
- ✓Your Smart Pass serial number (Settings → Activation)
- ✓An email address
- ✓Cryptocurrency for payment (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, etc.)
Free trial: All Smart Pass features are unlocked in the free trial. No credit card required.
Find your serial number
Windows
- 1.Open Smart Pass
- 2.Click the gear icon in the top right
- 3.Select "Activation" tab
- 4.Your serial number is displayed in the format: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
Copy button: Click the copy icon next to your serial number to copy it to clipboard.
Purchase your license
Choose your plan
Visit the activation page and select your preferred plan:
Pro Monthly — $30/month
Month-to-month, cancel anytime
Pro Annual — $10/month Save 67%
Billed $120/year, best value
Enter your details
- 1.Paste your serial number
- 2.Enter your email address (where you'll receive the activation code)
- 3.Select your plan
- 4.Click "Pay with crypto"
Complete payment
Payment process
- 1.You'll be redirected to NOWPayments (secure crypto payment processor)
- 2.Choose your preferred cryptocurrency
- 3.Complete the payment from your crypto wallet
- 4.Wait for blockchain confirmation (usually 5–30 minutes)
Instant activation code: Your activation code will be sent to your email as soon as the payment is confirmed.
Activate your license
Enter your activation code
- 1.Check your email for the activation code
- 2.Open Smart Pass
- 3.Go to Settings → Activation
- 4.Paste your activation code
- 5.Click "Activate"
Done. Your Pro license is now active. Enjoy unlimited access to all features.
License details
Machine binding
Each license is bound to one machine based on your device's hardware ID. You can view your bound machine in Settings → Activation.
Expiration & renewal
Annual plans: Your license expires 12 months from activation. You'll receive an email reminder before expiration.
Monthly plans: Your subscription renews automatically each month. You can cancel anytime in Settings.
Transferring to another machine
Contact support with your serial number and new machine details. We can help you move your license (subject to our policies).
Troubleshooting
I didn't receive my activation code
Check your spam folder first. If it's not there:
- • Verify the email address you entered during purchase
- • Wait 5–10 minutes for blockchain confirmation
- • Contact support with your transaction ID
Activation code not working
Make sure you're:
- • Entering the entire code (copy-paste recommended)
- • Using the correct serial number
- • On the machine where the code was purchased for
Payment failed
Common issues: insufficient balance, network issues, or unsupported payment method. Try again or contact NOWPayments support.

Activation codes are Ed25519-signed and verified by Smart Pass to prevent tampering. Never share your activation code with others.
